The NTEA retroactive salary payroll has been fully processed and uploaded to the banking system. Direct Deposits will hit accounts on Monday, August 28th.
Just a reminder – this payroll reflects revised contractual salaries (including guide changes) through June 30, 2017. Retroactive pay for custodial overtime will be paid in September.
We encourage everyone to review their retro pay stubs carefully, and to contact the Payroll Department with any questions. They say they will do their best to explain how calculations were made and make any necessary corrections as quickly as possible.
The Payroll Department anticipates a payment date of August 23rd – although that could change a day or so in either direction. They will email the actual pay date as soon as it is finalized.
The August 23rd payroll will reflect both revised contractual salaries and guide changes through June 30, 2017. Retroactive pay for custodial overtime will be issued in September, at which time we will also adjust any of the tentative salaries we have been paying 12-month employees since July 1st.
The September 15th payroll will reflect the correct 2017-2018 salaries for all employees.
Retroactive salary payments will be issued via Direct Deposit – sent to the “primary” account used for regular salary payments.
The Payroll Department wants to point out that the calculation of this payroll has been particularly complex due to the duration of negotiations and state pension reporting requirements. We encourage everyone to review their retro pay stubs carefully, and to contact them directly with questions.
